More pics taken with the Zeiss 24/1.8 on NEX-5. I am working on the review of the NEX-7 and this lens. My next post will be mostly on the NEX-7 and the Zeiss 24/1.8

SILVER NEX-5 + Zeiss 24 |
hi. could you do some portrait with this lens at f1.8? i want to buy one for my nex but it's expansive so i'm thinking. also i have silver nex 5 and this lens is black, will it be ugly? thanks for reply
ReplyDeleteHi,
ReplyDeleteWill do.
Thanks for the comment
thank you for these pictures! as i thought it looks better on black nex. maybe i will buy a nex 7 because it has real dials for controls. The only thing that stops me is that it has too much pixels, do you feel any slow when processing raw image comparing to the 14 mpix of the nex 5? i like using raw but i will never have the use of 24 mpix.
ReplyDeleteNo, so far I don't notice any difference. I use Lightroom 3.6 and CS 5.1
ReplyDeletei use lightroom too and i noticed a difference between 14 mpix and 18 mpix of my older canon 550D when processing images so im very afraid of the 24 mpix of nex 7. what do you think about 24 mpix sensor?
ReplyDeleteA 24mpix Raw File converted to DNG in LR becomes ~25mb file. What difference do you mean?
ReplyDeleteHonestly, 24mb is too much for an APS-C sensor. So far I am happy with it, but I seldom do 'low-light' stuff but will test is
